The Core leadership seeks God for the overall vision of the fellowship and takes an active leadership role in it's implementation.

It oversees the proper functioning of any groups and ministries and is set up to fulfil the vision and values of QP.

It aims to ensure strong pastoral support to ministry leaders and encourage good open relationships amongst them.

Ali Laing

Youth Pastor

Ali Laing joined QP staff in 2008, he is married to Jill who is a Depute Head in a Primary School.  Ali is passionate about investing into young peoples lives so that they may truely know how much they are loved by their Father God and also how the endless potential within them can be released so they become who they were made to be!! Ali loves lots of things Laughing, Friends, Movies, Pizza, Football and His lovely wife Jill.

Children & Families Pastor

Marie Smith joined the team in May 2009 as Children & Families Pastor. Marie is no stranger to working with children and families after making stories come alive to children all over the city while working with Glasgow Libraries. Marie's heart is for all children to know their Father God and to flourish from that place of love, affirmation and security. Marie is married to the lovely Gordon and they both share a passion for Scotland!
